Ms. Lewis has many years of nonprofit work experience and seven years as the executive director. She partook in creating two nonprofits for the Indigenous communities and sat on multiple nonprofit boards (disability and victim service focuses). Ms. Lewis contributed her knowledge in working with diverse populations by sitting on government and foundation advisory boards & funding committees. In addition to her knowledge of working with diverse communities, she has extensive experience in Revenue Generation, Financial Management, Board Management, Staff Management, Training, Outreach & Marketing, Data Collection, Volunteer Management, and Outcome Measurements. In July 2022, Ms. Lewis, realizing her passion for supporting Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Disability-led organizations, joined Ashmore Consulting, well-known in Colorado, for providing consulting services for BIPOC-led organizations' fundraising and capacity building.
